Hello everyone! I am Dragos and I am currently studying BSc Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience at University of Essex. I’m a huge fan of tennis and rock-climbing so you will probably see me around trying not to get hit in the face by a ball or struggling not to fall from very high places…standard stuff, really.
You might be thinking: “hmmm, why is he a blogger?” Well the reason is quite simple: I have always been the type of person that is constantly seeking my next passion, that thing that I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. For some people that’s easy, they find out immediately what they want to do and pursue it. For me it was a bit different. I wanted to pursue something but I didn’t really know what that thing was, and because of that it took me quite a while, and a lot of trials and errors, to actually find that my passion lies in Psychology – and I couldn’t be happier studying it here at Essex at the moment! So, now my dream is to become a lecturer and a counsellor, in order to help other people find their happiness just like I found mine. In order to get there, I will probably need around 6 more years of studying if I count a master and a PHD (If nothing else pans out at least I will be able correct people into calling me doctor muhaha) but in the meantime I joined the blogging team to offer my advice and share my experiences with other people in the hopes it will make your life a bit easier, by giving you some tips and tricks about life at Essex, share my experiences and talk about what things worked and what didn’t for me, so you won’t make the same mistakes as me…hopefully!
